KingSett Capital is Canada’s leading private equity real estate investment firm with $15.9 billion of assets currently under management.
When we were introduced to the KingSett team we were excited about the prospect of furnishing a set of office spaces in iconic office towers in two of Canada’s largest cities. KingSett has a strong reputation as being a premier real estate investment company, and we were up to the challenge of meeting their high standard for the quality of office suites that we set out to furnish.
At the outset we knew there would be a number of obstacles that come with a project that spans across a country, especially in the midst of a pandemic. The result was 5 beautifully furnished office suites with 75 ergonomic individual workstations along with a number of conference areas and breakout rooms that were lease-ready.
We started the project by working with the KingSett team to create a series of custom floor plans for each of the unique office suites. In addition to ensuring that we were maximizing the space for productivity for the tenants, safety was a top priority by keeping compliance with each provinces’ Covid-19 regulations at the forefront of our planning. This meant that some of the workstations had to be socially distant with 6 feet between each, and accessible to a variety of tenant types.
To ensure we had a consistent aesthetic across all 5 of the suites, we planned each of the spaces congruently including inviting reception areas, collaborative spaces conducive to creativity, and ergonomic workstations for a unified look and feel. To further aid in having cohesive suites across KingSett's portfolio and for seamless installations, our Move Captains were on-site to oversee and manage the delivery and assembly process.
With travel restrictions and being based in Toronto, we managed Vancouver’s installation remotely with our third party logistics providers that serve as an extension of our team. KingSett touted our ability to work quickly, provide customized space plans, and well-designed ergonomic workstations at great prices as some of the reasons why they loved working with us. The outcome is a suite of turnkey office spaces that have a modern aesthetic, are conducive to productivity, and compatible for any company regardless of their industry.
