    Excellent, sturdy product! HIGHLY recommend

I first ordered the riser, thinking I didn't really need the shelf; however, I realized that it would be great to have as I can keep piles of paper on it and it's out of the way. the quality of this attachment is just as excellent and super solid as the desk! I recommend getting both!

Quality product and great customer service

Not your average desk riser and shelf… I purchased both and these are one very well made, look nice and are easy to set up and use. I have a Branch desk chair and their quality is very consistent.

    Well designed and functional

The riser shelf came nicely packaged and with typical assembly. The shelf and riser pieces are quality materials and engineered to fit perfectly to the Riser Desk.

However; the hardware supplied was possibly the poorest quality of all the ready to assemble furniture I've purchased. The blind anchors didn't fit the mortised holes and the included Philips screw driver was not well suited to tightening the anchors. Even the posts left you wondering how tight to make them.

The contrast to the quality of every other part of the riser desk made the hardware a real puzzle.

Hi Bob, thank you for such a thoughtful review, and for being such a fan of the Desk Riser. We're glad the shelf arrived nicely packaged and that the shelf and riser pieces fit together just the way they should. You're right that the hardware should live up to the quality of everything else in the box, and we're sorry it fell short. Blind anchors that don't seat in their holes, a screwdriver that isn't suited to tightening them, and no clear sense of how tight to make the posts is a frustrating way to finish an otherwise smooth assembly. Our team will reach out to make sure your shelf is secure, and we're sharing your feedback with our product team so we can improve the hardware and instructions. Thanks again, Bob. We really appreciate you taking the time to tell us.

    Beautiful product

Wish it had been a little more specific that this was an accessory to the Desk Riser. It is lovely looking though

This is the “shelf” only! Desk riser sold separately

The product photos show the desk riser and the shelf together. I thought I was buying the desk riser unit, not just the shelf. I know this is partially on me, but it was confusing. I got it as a Christmas gift for my partner, but was sad to realize I didn’t get the whole thing for them. Maybe add a photo highlighting what it is and make it more clear in the description. Thank you!

Thank you for sharing this Ben. We’re sorry the product photos and description weren’t clearer and led to that confusion, especially since this was meant as a gift.

Your suggestion is a good one. We’ll take this feedback back to the team and work on making it more obvious in both the imagery and product description what’s included so it’s easier to understand at a glance. Thanks for taking the time to call it out, it helps us improve the experience for future customers.
